Less clutter, more strawberry

Been weeding our strawberry patch today. It was overrun and all but disappeared into a confusion of grasses.

Strawberries are pretty resilient but the chicken compost I spread last fall was full of grass seeds. Clearly.

Notes to self:

No more free range chicken poo.

Gloves are for amateurs.

Nail dirt - wear it proudly.

It's OK to judge weeds and root the buggers.

And a mighty moral for the ages... Less clutter, more strawberry!
